PO-03-015 HIS BUNDLE PACING: OUTCOME AFTER 10-YEARS FOLLOW-UP

نویسندگان

چکیده

His bundle pacing (HBP) ensures a physiologic ventricular activation and can prevent pacing-induced cardiomyopathy. Published experiences confirm good clinical results on short-term follow-up. Data long-term follow-up are still lacking. to analyze technical outcomes of HBP in an unselected population after very Retrospective analysis 370 patients (mean age 75±8 years; 221 males) with standard indication for implanted from 2003 2012. In 52% selective-HBP was obtained while 48% were non selective-HBP. all cases the performed by lumenless fixed screw lead deflectable sheath C304. The indications AV block 51%, sinus node disease 22%, atrial fibrillation slow rate 25%, heart failure 2%. Ischemic cardiopathy found 84 pts (29%); hypertension 317 (86%) diabetes 108 (29%). His Bundle Pacing: Techniques and Outcomes.

Traditional right ventricular pacing prolongs the electrical and mechanical activation of the heart, which reduces the pump function, and in selected patients may lead to pacing-induced heart failure. Pacing the His bundle preserves the normal or near-normal activation pattern of the ventricles that prevents the detrimental effects of right ventricular pacing. This review discusses the techniqu...

Outcome of Clival Chordomas after Skull Base Surgeries with Mean Follow-up of 10 Years.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Skull base chordomas are clinically malignant because of the difficulty of total removal, high recurrence rate, and occasional drop metastasis. Although aggressive surgical resection and postoperative radiation have been recommended, the long-term outcome remains unsatisfactory. METHODS From 1992 to 2011, we treated 24 patients with skull base chordoma using aggressiv...
